Rate the Last Movie you Saw

Binged Scary Movie 1 2 3 4 & 5

I’ll give it a 7.5 overall. Each one gave me legit LOLs more than once. I will always love these slapstick comedy one liner schticks in movies and Scary Movie does it well. Some of it is a bit dated as it references many sign of the times that wouldn’t hold up now if you’re not in the know.

How many people would remember the Nike commercial back when it aired..

Deep diving into The Conjuring. First one pretty standard stuff and jump scares, watched The C0njuring 2 but missed Annabelle as that falls into the series as the second movie. 2 was decent enough I enjoy the continuity of the films.

Conjuring gets 6.5/10

Giving Smile a solid 5.5

 

I thought going in the best we get was shown in the trailers but there is more so that was good.
It’s pretty much a watered down version of The Ring, investigative but more creepy than horror. Downside to the investigative portion, which I enjoyed and kept me watching, was that there is no real resolution/conclusion to what it was, so imo this hurts it a bit.

Slight Spoil:
The ‘it’s in my mind’ dialog at the end could have been used better to make it more impactful.

Creepy and good moments, worth a watch if you’ve got nothing else going on.

The last movie which I watched was Black Adam and Wakanda Forever : Black Panther. Both of them are very good movie but would rate Black Adam 9/10 and Wakanda Forever 7/10. Shuri sucked for me as the Black Panther.

Wednesday.

 

I found her “dark” humor quite funny I thought for sure I would tire of it but right up to the last episode I was smirking and chuckle still.

Enid the roommate was also a refreshing character and a good balance and dynamic between the two.

It does borderline between Harry Potter and Scooby Doo Mysteries but still a very fun watch. Recommended.

Synchronic. Quite an intense film. Lead actor Mackie does a great job. Gets really trippy. 7/10
