1 tablespoon olive oil
3/4 cup red onion
1 garlic clove minced
1/4 teaspoon turmeric
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon basil (or fresh)
Sea salt to taste
1/2 cup of Greek yogurt
1 can diced tomato
Ground turkey
Whole wheat pita
Set oven to 450
Saute onion, olive oil, garlic for 2 to 3 minutes.
Add the ground turkey and cook for 10 to 12 minutes more.
In a bowl combine the the Greek yogurt and the spices.
Spread this on the pita and add the ground turkey and the diced tomatoes. Add seas salt.
Bake in oven for several minutes.
