Interesting. Creepy. Strange. Delightful?
Ok I give it a solid 7 maybe a 7.5
This may not be for everyone but I liked it.
The little kid did fairly decent considering you can only get so much out of a toddler with a movie like this.
It’s not as dark as Pan’s Labyrinth or as thought provoking as D’Onofrio’s The Cell but it lies decently somewhere inbetween and it can hold its own. Visuals are great. You’re not getting much dialog at all and having a child’s perspective throughout may be hard to grasp or get into, and it was one of the shortest end credits I’ve ever seen, it’s like 50 people only worked on it.
I’m going to sit on this for a bit and will likely watch again, it’s why I’m tinkering on a 7.5 rating…
